Asmat Ancestor Skulls

[10 min sketches, ballpoint and brush pen on cover stock]

We were at the DeYoung museum in Golden Gate Park for a show on the origins of impressionism – but I really can’t visit the museum without going upstairs to draw these two Asmat ancestor skulls.

Update: Here’s a silly time lapse video of one of these sketches :) Sorry about the rough quality. Sill figuring out video editing settings.

  1. Heh – these are just sketchbook pages. Things I do for fun and training. I probably wouldn’t sell one of these quick ones. I am planning to put up some of my more finished work for sale someday soon. Still working on that in my ‘spare’ time :)
