Last night was the Gallery Girls Midsummer Nights Dream drawing party in San Francisco. Always a great models and interesting costumes. They are more active in LA than SF – check their site for details on upcoming events.

This time I did fewer drawings, but tried to focus a bit more on the likeness. Gradually, gradually getting better at capturing specific faces, rather than approximations.  These were drawn a bit larger than usual (11×17 instead of my usual 8.5×11), so that always helps make a better drawing.
