(Sunday Night Sketchgroup - Character of the Week):

There’s a weekly character design project over at conceptart.org - this week’s brief described the character as a “plague doctor” - and incidentally, a smoker - which is something I’ve been thinking about drawing for a while anyway - ever since I accidentally found out that women smoking is a fetish catered to by the usual array of websites and forums… so anyway - I pitched this in….

Here’s a two thumbs up recommendation for Andrew Jones new demo video, “Fine Art Series, Volume 1″ available via paypal and direct download from the Massive Black online store…It’s a lot of fun to just watch this guy paint - you also get a soothing monologue of his thought process while working. Inspirational and educational. You get three paintings in the quicktime, plus the PSD’s - it’s well worth grabbing.
