Downloaded Alias Sketch the other night - (a drawing program designed for use without a keyboard) - it’s certainly a workable solution (all based on pen-flick navigation) - well, ALMOST all; there are a few annoying interface issues. You can’t get to the brush opacity or eyedropper without a lot of pen travel, and the main tools interface is locked to the edge of the window instead of floating like a maya type menu. Plus I find the default brushes a bit blurry, and if you build a custom brush, you can’t get to it from the flick menu! Overall it has promise, but it’s not quite there. I’m hoping someone will just support customizable pen flicks in Vista.

This just in: the poster for Revelations 2008 digital art workshop (Seattle). I’ll be doing painting demos alongside an amazing (intimidating) line up of artists…totally looking forward to seeing all this talent at work:

So laptop working finally (had some fun tearing into the thing to get at the fan)… getting the feel of photoshop without the hotkeys. Pain! no hotkeys is physical pain! - like painting with one hand tied…somewhere…also photoshop with one monitor is pain too….wow, listen to that wining, not appealing at all. Look at pictures instead:
