I’m not sure what these strange robed figures are all about, but it’s definitely a theme that keeps coming up.
I call them Oracles. They seem to have that sort of feeling about them.
Until I started streaming out my sketching, I didn’t realize how often I drew these mystery women. I’m interested to see what happens with them next.

This could be the last drawing of Liza in her 20’s….somehow I felt a lot of responsiblity drawing today - it’s not every day you record a turning point in someones life, no matter how minor. Most drawings just go by, good, bad or just another tick on the learning curve. I’m happy this one turned out.

idea for a back design…not a great figure drawing (because it’s totally made up - not a good practice - inventing the figure frequently lets you down) - but whatever - it’s more about the design.
I’m trying to think about ways to do a tat like this without being totally cliche. This isn’t ‘the one’ but - there you have it…
